Small Spaces-Kitchens

Apartments and some homes, like mine, have small kitchens. Here are some ideas to consider that will help your create an efficient work space.

  • Keep a clear counter so you have room for food preparation. Find small stands for your coffee pot, microwave, or toaster.

  • Go through cabinets and drawers to see if there are items you no longer need and either donate or give them away.

  • Utilize your refrigerator and oven for storage. Packaged food can go in the fridge even if it doesn't require cold storage. And, your oven is the perfect place for pots and pans, baking dishes, etc.

  • Remove food that is individually packaged from their box and put the in small containers. Boxes can take up a lot of space.

  • Mount spice racks and utensils to a wall.

  • Use shelf dividers and shelf stands to make the best use of your space.

Enjoy your kitchen all year round with a fresh new take on organizing limited space.

It's as simple as that!
