Time IS On Your Side

Now that you have successfully created space for all your things, you find that life still happens and things get out of place. When we don't have time, we don't always put things away. It's just easier. But, I'm here to tell you that time IS on your side and that you have more of it than you think.

If you just take 15 minutes out of your busy schedule to focus on only one project. You will be surprised what you can accomplish to keep order. You don't need to spend a lot of time to make a difference. Plus, doing a little now will make it easier to do more later when you actually have more than 15 minutes to put things in their proper places.

Here are some ways to make organizing maintenance a little easier when you only have a few minutes to spare.

Set up a container in each room for temporary storage. Then

take a walk around your home and when you find something that's been left in the wrong room pick it up and put it in the temporary container in the right room. This will avoid clutter in each room until you have time to put them away and it's a quick trick toward maintenance when you don't have much time.

When you are organized you now have a place for everything, so pin-point only one room to get into shape. It won't take long and you'll feel like you moved mountains.

Put shopping bags and coupons in your car, make a bed or pick up toys. There are many small jobs that can be done when you are short on time. Or take that 15 minutes to make a list of the things you want to accomplish to get your home back in order when you do have extra time.

It's as simple as that!
